HOW THE EMPOWERED PRINTS EMPLOYEE STORE WORKS:
The Empowered Prints Employee Store consists of products designed and made solely by interns/employees of ThelmaLou Creations, LLC. Each intern is instructed at the beginning of the program to think about a product they want to design and ultimately make that will be completely their own. At the end of the program, the objective is for each intern to produce their product from start to finish and put it into production. The intern will design, set the pricing structure, produce a final product for the store and if successful, will then fulfill any and all orders for their product.
Once the original product prototype is completed, it will then be added to the Empowered Prints Employee Store, where all proceeds during that time will go directly to that intern. If the intern becomes a contracted employee of ThelmaLou Creations, LLC the employee product will remain on the site for the duration of their employment, where the employee will continue to earn profits. ThelmaLou Creations, LLC will only collect cost of materials and taxes. All remaining profits will become property of the intern.
